What is it?
Dust Bunny provides practical help with personal and professional archives.

I work with individuals, artists, studios and collections to organise, digitise and preserve photographs, audiovisual material, documents and digital files.

Work can be carried out remotely or in person, depending on what suits the project. I maintain confidentiality throughout with personal, family, or unpublished material.

Approach:
I treat every collection on its own terms. Some projects focus on preserving fragile or obsolete material; others on making an existing archive easier to organise, find and use. Often it’s both.

I start with the material itself and how you need to use it, then build a physical or digital system that is practical, durable and easy to maintain.

Original material is handled using appropriate archival handling and storage practices.

About:
Hello, I’m Beatrice, a.k.a. Dust Bunny. I’ve been working in art and design university libraries and archives since 2018. I’m trained in collections management, including the practical care, organisation, cataloguing and preservation of physical and digital material, and I’ve been collecting old media formats for years.
